ng4ever 40 Posted February 6, 2023 Posted February 6, 2023 Is it ok if I ask a question for Roku TVs in here about Emby itself?
pwhodges 2012 Posted February 6, 2023 Posted February 6, 2023 Roku is Roku. The same OS whether in a stick or a TV, and the one Emby client runs just the same in both. So ask away. Paul

Is there any reason a h265 video file would not play correctly on a Insignia Roku TV ? Like picture is pixelated Edited February 6, 2023 by ng4ever
pwhodges 2012 Posted February 6, 2023 Posted February 6, 2023 Assuming (which you have not made clear) that you are referring to a video being served by Emby to its Roku client, what is needed to diagnose why this is happening to you is for you to provide the server log covering the period in which you see the problem, as is detailed in this guide: Paul

Like picture is pixelated Hi. Can you show a screenshot of what you mean? The main reason it might not play correctly is because some condition has caused transcoding. You can enable stats for nerds within the Emby Roku app to see if this is transcoding. Seeing the screenshot showing what you mean by pixelated would help a bunch. Also seeing the stats for nerds while that item played too. If you can screenshot with stats for nerds enabled even better. By screenshot I mean just take a picture of the screen with your phone. Then we can see what you mean much better than you trying to describe it. Thanks.
