Guest Posted February 5, 2023 Posted February 5, 2023 (edited) I was positive I saw this option the other day. I'd like to adjust the time that it takes for the "next up" pop-up to display. For instance, instead of the "next up" pop-up displaying 40s from the end, I'd prefer it to display 60 secs from the end. Did I imagine it? Or am I just not looking in the right place? Thank you. Eigeplackter 91 Posted February 5, 2023 Posted February 5, 2023 I'd be interested if this option exists in WebGUI too, I just found it inside of KODI, but not Emby so far.
rbjtech 5284 Posted February 5, 2023 Posted February 5, 2023 I'm pretty certain this has never been selectable outside of plugins. The Introskip plugin in combination with the Android TV/FireTV Client actually uses the 'StartCredits' hidden marker to bring up the 'next up' exactly when the credits start. The detection of end 'credits' is only available in the Introskip Plugin - the core Introskip does not currently have this capability although the 'markers' themselves are part of the core database.

Thanks for letting me know. I'll give that plugin a go. Cheers!

Looks like the plugin has been deprecated. The latest release (from GitHub) fails to load. Oh well

Oh well Hiya - Yea, if you are not running the 'insider' version of the Introskip Plugin - then it's disabled as the Core asked us to do that, making way for the core version (but with limited functionality). pm me if you wanna try the Plugin, as it's still very much operational (I use it myself) but if you are already running the core Introskip - then probably best to stick to the core version. The point of my message above though was to say that there is actually a mechanism (the 'StartCredit' Marker) to possible have this as a metadata setting per 'show'. Maybe have a default of 40s from the end, but in metadata, you could overwrite this at the 'show' level. Something to maybe suggest in Feature Requests ?
