Hey there - is there any combination of server and app settings that will allow accounts that have logged into the Android TV client remotely effectively switch users without needing to enter the password again?

Here's an idea: create an account with username as the password and no actual password.

 

Example:

Username: Bob WMSn^t9Gnb#uGH

Password: (nothing)

Tick the option not to show the username on the login screen unless previously signed in.

Basically, you can't login without knowing the password (i.e. the username), but once logged in you don't need the password to switch back to the account?

Most Emby apps now have a Change User function that you can use when signed in.

Yes, found settings on the server to enable show user on login screen as well
