iPad 8 gen / I think raspberry Pi

Using Safari / Firefox / Opra / chrome . I cannot stream reliably anything past one minute through Emby . Youtube a catch ups works fine . Worked fine up until six months ago . on newest iOS . New router . think dads users a Raspberry Pi or somethings windows based . Works for on my windows laptop . Can someone please help my dad hates apples and has control issues even though I am adult !!
