disable skip intro for specific tv shows?

Hi.

I have one tv show (one piece) where the skip intro feature is not working well, while other tv shows work really good. So, it would be great if I could disable this feature for specific tv shows 😀

Hi, yes it is only for tv series.

They're asking for a new feature.

They want to have intro skip turned on at the library level, but gain the ability to turn intro skip off for individual show(s) in that library.

I would like this too.

Sorry I misread this. But yes I agree that this would be a good thing to add.

Yes, that was my intention. Will this be added?

It's possible for the future. Thanks.

@rbjtechhow's the plugin coming along?

No progress I'm afraid - life comes before emby - I can't promise anything at the moment I'm afraid.   Just being realistic.

(but to be clear, the ability to exclude a TV Show has always been in the Plugin - I believe you are referring to other functionality yes ?)

Whatever you were intending with getting it back up and running, really.

Personally I'm interested in the opposite and that is turn intro skip on for just one/new selected series. I don't want to run this through my whole TV library when I don't need to.

Been after this QOL "feature" since core version was introduced... But seems since it was and the plugin seemingly sent to die, core has been ignored. Shame really.

Afraid to say I am no longer using the Plugin - it was no longer worth the time and effort.  Yes it had a lot of extra functionality that made it better than core, but at the end of the day, the core skip does what it's supposed to do for the primary function - finding and skipping the Intro's.

Not in my experience, it doesn't.

Do you have any specific TV series or examples where it doesn't ?

I find the Chapter API 'Intro Summary' fairly representative of the old API Plugin.   It's less effective on Intro's that happen deep within an episode - I agree - but as that only impacts a tiny percentage of my overall shows, it simply wasn't worth the overhead.

Alfred Hitchcock Presents.

Wish to bump this.

Usually skipping intros, but for some shows I want to watch intros. For example, American Dad. Roger have different outfits in every intro.

P.s. That Chapter API is useless. It's doing only temporally changes..  Library scan reverted to old chapters

P.s. If someone will work on intro plugin, could also make smarter End Credits.

In these days, they are starting way earlier. For example, Murderbot, episode ends already ~ 60-70 secs. before end. Some studios have even longer end credits.
