sylvio2000 23 Posted January 24, 2023 Posted January 24, 2023 Hi. I have one tv show (one piece) where the skip intro feature is not working well, while other tv shows work really good. So, it would be great if I could disable this feature for specific tv shows 1 8

They want to have intro skip turned on at the library level, but gain the ability to turn intro skip off for individual show(s) in that library. I would like this too. Â 1 1
Luke 42077 Posted January 24, 2023 Posted January 24, 2023 Sorry I misread this. But yes I agree that this would be a good thing to add. 2 1
sylvio2000 23 Posted January 25, 2023 Author Posted January 25, 2023 Yes, that was my intention. Will this be added?
Cheesegeezer 3104 Posted January 25, 2023 Posted January 25, 2023 (edited) Alas IntroSkip plugin had this feature. Edited January 26, 2023 by Cheesegeezer 3 1

No progress I'm afraid - life comes before emby - I can't promise anything at the moment I'm afraid.  Just being realistic. (but to be clear, the ability to exclude a TV Show has always been in the Plugin - I believe you are referring to other functionality yes ?) Edited April 17, 2024 by rbjtech 1

Whatever you were intending with getting it back up and running, really. 1
Junglejim 385 Posted April 18, 2024 Posted April 18, 2024 Personally I'm interested in the opposite and that is turn intro skip on for just one/new selected series. I don't want to run this through my whole TV library when I don't need to. 1
VirulentPip 93 Posted April 23, 2024 Posted April 23, 2024 Been after this QOL "feature" since core version was introduced... But seems since it was and the plugin seemingly sent to die, core has been ignored. Shame really. 1
rbjtech 5284 Posted July 2, 2024 Posted July 2, 2024 Afraid to say I am no longer using the Plugin - it was no longer worth the time and effort. Yes it had a lot of extra functionality that made it better than core, but at the end of the day, the core skip does what it's supposed to do for the primary function - finding and skipping the Intro's.Â

I find the Chapter API 'Intro Summary' fairly representative of the old API Plugin.  It's less effective on Intro's that happen deep within an episode - I agree - but as that only impacts a tiny percentage of my overall shows, it simply wasn't worth the overhead.

Normanos 13 Posted July 21, 2025 Posted July 21, 2025 (edited) Wish to bump this. Usually skipping intros, but for some shows I want to watch intros. For example, American Dad. Roger have different outfits in every intro. P.s. That Chapter API is useless. It's doing only temporally changes.. Library scan reverted to old chapters Edited July 21, 2025 by Normanos 1
Normanos 13 Posted August 9, 2025 Posted August 9, 2025 P.s. If someone will work on intro plugin, could also make smarter End Credits.  In these days, they are starting way earlier. For example, Murderbot, episode ends already ~ 60-70 secs. before end. Some studios have even longer end credits. 1
