video is 'unsupported', audio is wacky - rext?

With a couple of HEVC rext profile videos, Emby Android TV stats says 'unsupported video profile'.  Where is the unsupported coming from - my Shield or Emby?

Also, video a15 has only 5.1 audio tracks, but Emby stats says it is streaming out 7.1 channels.

That means if you look at the Profile value of the video stream at the bottom of the web app detail screen. Whatever that value is is not supported by the device.

Right, but who is not compatible?  Emby, Shield, or the TV?  Any way to know?
