Emby unable to find information when using "identify"

Recommended Posts

Posted

I've looked through a number of posts that seemed related, but following the solutions did not resolve the issue.

I recently added new movies to my server (the first in a while, so I'm not sure when it started having issues) and Emby is not only not able to ID then automatically, when I try to manually identify them, even using the IMDB and TVDB links (screen shots included).

I've tried through the Android app (where I usually manage my server) and through the web interface on the server and the results are the same.

I am not sure how to trouble shoot the issue.

You can not put a IMDB in a TMDB field.  Put it in the IMDB field to search that ID on enabled provider sites.

Sorry, in my example screen shot, I did it wrong, but I just double checked and did it correctly but the result is the same.

No, that's unrelated. Post full log file, not pasted snippet.

That was the complete log for the time stamp but I have enabled debugging, repeated the procedure (got the same result) and have attached it.

I see no queries in your log.

Could you:

1. Temporary disable automatic port mapping as your log is flooded with Port mapper errors:

2. Run Rotate log file Scheduled task:

3. Post a screenshot of enabled library providers and their order:

4. Try to Identify an item with any criteria (name, ID)

5. Post server log.

I did as directed and tried a dozen or so titles, even ones that it had identified before, and it is still reporting no search results. Here's the last one I tried

@AthielD how are you suppose to get a result if you have no providers enabled to query?

You don't have any provider enabled - hence no results. Enable at least TMDB.
