Bypass Server loading screen on Android

For those of us that live in rural areas without good cell coverage, getting to our local phone downloads on the Android app is the main use case when away from home. Unfortunately, when starting the app, it spends a significant amount of time trying to connect to the most recent server before giving up and allowing the selection of the download folder. If there was a bypass option right away to allow bypassing that loading time would be great.
