Auto Skipintro locking up

I just got a roku to replace a bad firetv 4k stick

Roku Premier+  4630X

All upto date.

When set to auto skip intro when it's time to play the intro of any show it locks on a frame and loops audio in a lot of flashing.

 

If I jump after the intro it plays fine and before the intro.

If I set it to show skip button then it works fine. And if I press it or don't it works great ether way.

 

Just when set to auto I have issues

sure. i was watching himym i started a new episode. and it plays fine tell it gets to the intro, then it freezes on a frame and flashes black and then the frame again over and over and the audio glitch's out as well. if i jump to just after the intro part it starts playing fine again.

Thanks.  We've had one other person report this type of behavior with the auto skip.  I cannot reproduce it and I'm baffled because the auto skip does the exact same thing that pressing the button does.

Is it consistent on all content?

it was on all my himym series, 3rd rock from the sun its hit or miss. some do just fine others dont.
