Newuser1234 0 Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 Hey guys. I have a problem with my emby which I have running with docker. When I put my server in standby and wake it up again I have to make a restart of the containers via portainer. If I don't do that, I won't get access to emby. What can I set so that emby is available after removing the server? Other docker containers (e.g. File Manager or nginx) are immediately available. Br Andi
Luke 42078 Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 Hi, where exactly do you lose access from?
Newuser1234 0 Posted January 17, 2023 Author Posted January 17, 2023 Hi, my emby isn't reachable anymore. I get an erorr from my Browser, see attached picture. When is start the container new via portainer everything works fine again. Then I am able to reach emby with that ip/Port.
Newuser1234 0 Posted January 17, 2023 Author Posted January 17, 2023 I don`t find any edit button the decrease the picture size. Attached you`ll also find the log file from emby in portainer. after suspend (emby doesn´t work) and after restart conainer (emby works fine) _emby_logs_after restart container.txt _emby_logs_after suspend.txt
Luke 42078 Posted January 19, 2023 Posted January 19, 2023 Can you please attach the complete server log files? These are only small snippets. Thanks.
Newuser1234 0 Posted January 21, 2023 Author Posted January 21, 2023 Hi Luke, that is the whole log from docker. sorry unfortunately it seems for that this forum is a "one-man-show" from your side and we are not solve that here. I ve also created a thread in the open media vault forum and there the guys found out (with that log i ve also attached here). "problem is that emby docker start prior all your filesystem are not ready (mounted), so can not access to config files." ystem.AggregateException: System.AggregateException: One or more errors occurred. (Access to the path '/config/logs/embyserver-1.txt' is denied
Luke 42078 Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 Have you configured the docker container to autostart?
Newuser1234 0 Posted January 22, 2023 Author Posted January 22, 2023 Always but also tried unless stopped
Newuser1234 0 Posted January 24, 2023 Author Posted January 24, 2023 few days ago, i found my solution and I would like to share it with you. it is simple and easy. i have plugged a usb stick inside my NAS and put it as a share in OMV. after that i copied all the config data from emby on the stick and load them from now on from the drive instead of the HDD´s in my NAS. it works great, emby is accessible after I wake up immediately.
