What happens after you restart the emby server ?

plugin missing ?

Hi.  Make sure your server has the file system permission to write to its folders.  If you cannot figure it out, please attach  your Emby server log from when that happened.

Thanks.

Hi Eigeplackter...Restarting server doesn't help. Hi ebr... when you say write permissions, do you mean the emby server folders?

Plugins are written to the user directory, check path in WebGUI overview the … next to your emby server name.

Please see attached server log

embyserver.txt

Tried installing plugins between 6:30 to 6:35. Also gave Emby-Server folder under Roaming full security permissions (everyone), restarted server but still nothing.

Hi.  Looks like something in your network setup is not allowing your server to talk to ours.  Proxy involved?

System.Security.Authentication.AuthenticationException: Authentication failed because the remote party sent a TLS alert: 'HandshakeFailure'.

@doppies What version of Windows is that?  It looks like 8.1.

Might be the same/similar issue as Windows 7 TLS 1.2 issues but haven't done any testing on 8.1.

There is a Fortigate firewall installed yes. Will check the settings. Thanks for pointing that out.

This makes sense yes because its Windows Server 2012 R2 and I have tried everything. Due to nobody experiencing this issue online I assume that installing Emby on another O/S will solve this solution. Thanks for your help.

You could use something like IISCypto to change the registry flags as that is how I got Windows 7 to still work in another topic.

You are a genius! IISCypto actually did the trick. Appreciate it. Problem solved.
