some dvds do not load completely ? Runtime is also affected....

Good Evening.

I am experiencing an issue with some of my movies not loading completely when I click on the play button. Most work so I know it is not a setup issue but some only load 2-6 mins of the film for some reason. And some dont play at all. I have checked all the metadata setup and everything seems proper.

I have provided screenshots for  3 movies with this issue from different locations on the server and different hard drives as well. You can see the runtime is exactly to what the runtime of the film is loaded to.

It is interesting that the run time also changes to whatever part of the movie is loaded ?

I am not too versed in all this stuff - i managed to get the libraries set up with no issue and once I get this issue fixed I am good to go.

Please help as my family is getting frustrated that every movie they pick to watch does not have the full runtime loaded.

I am a Premiere user as of this evening as well.

sounds like your movies are in dvd folder format and emby is only playing one of the .vob files within. you'll solve this and generally get far better experience by ripping the folders to a single .mkv file. there are programs that can batch do this for numerous dvds

Hi.  What format are these items in?  If they are actually DVD folder rips (video_ts folder) then I suggest using a tool like makemkv to convert them to more streaming-friendly files.
