Tormat 1 Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 I’m unable to download subtitles, gone over the configuration many times, have Opensub.org account, log into it direct ok, through Emby though when entering my Opensub password of 8 characters length, despite clicking ‘save’ it reverts pack to 14 characters in length, when I try and download a sub for a movie it says No file found, have you configured Open sub, which I have? Any help appreciated

How does your library Subtitle downloaders section look like? Also, can you post server log upon trying to download subs?

Tormat 1 Posted January 8, 2023 Author Posted January 8, 2023 Hi, they were both ticked so have taken them off but still no joy, I’ll try rebooting the server, thanks
ebr 16185 Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 It is not guaranteed that a subtitle provider will have subs for all your content. Please go over a specific example and include a server log. Thanks.
Tormat 1 Posted January 9, 2023 Author Posted January 9, 2023 Will do, the thing is for the same movies Plex does get them, from OpenSubs? I’ll try a couple of movies now, tell you which ones and send a log, many thanks
Tormat 1 Posted January 9, 2023 Author Posted January 9, 2023 Hi again, so just tried the following films, American Sniper, Anger Management and finally Bohemian Rhapsody, then grabbed the server log, appreciate you looking at it https://www.dropbox.com/s/edisyj6b5njmw4u/Todayslog.pdf?dl=0
Luke 42080 Posted January 17, 2023 Posted January 17, 2023 @Tormat HI, I've pushed a 1.0.32 update to the OpenSubtitles plugin. Please let me know how that compares once you have it. Thanks.
Tormat 1 Posted January 18, 2023 Author Posted January 18, 2023 Hello, sorry but thought I’d already posted my remedy, which was to uninstall both Emby and Plex, then re-install only Emby, this worked for me I’m thinking maybe both servers running at the same time somehow caused the problem, as I was evaluating Plex and Emby to see which one I found easier to use, anyway all good now, so thank you 1
