chjohans 34 Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 I notice that the web player behaves a bit differently between IE and CHrome, which is understandable and fine as I guess you're using the best features of each. I prefer Chrome. But, there is an annoying problem. When I chose "fullscreen" mode in the player in Chrome the player controls, settings and the movie logo will never go away. It will go away after a few seconds in windowed mode, but never in full screen mode. I've duplicated this behaviour on 4 of my computers, and it's consistent. Please see the attached screenshot, take note that it's for "illustration purposes" only as it was snmapped in windowed mode before the controls, settings etc disappeared as it should after a few seconds. I've kind og gotten used to watching my movies and shows with the controls partially hiding my screen by now, but it's still annoying. Please advise on how to fix this. Thanks!
Luke 42079 Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 I'm not sure. It tests fine here. After the chrome fullscreen bar goes away the player controls then go away 5 or so seconds later. It appears to be fine on chrome 39
chjohans 34 Posted October 18, 2014 Author Posted October 18, 2014 Hmm, this is strange. I'm using the latest official version og Chrome 38.0.2125.104 m), but tried the beta/Dev versionsas well and the same thing is still happening. So I thought maybe one of my extensions was causing this issue so I started chrome with the "--disable-extensions" command-line option but that did not make any difference either. I've "always" (for many months) in Chrome, so it's not just this version of Chrome. Please help with debugging this, this happens on all the 4 PC's I've tested this on so this is probably not "just me". And now this is really bugging me, can't stand watching in Chrome now and I really hate IE (and uninstalled Fiefox some time ago).
