Try jellyfin,  i migrated 90% of my emby server and running it just fine, almost ready for complete switch. There are even some new nice plugins for jellyfin that wont be done in emby in next 60 years.....

I run both Emby and Jellyfin side by side. The reason I use Emby as my daily driver is that it's just a bit more polished all round. I've found that the only decent Jellyfin app is the Android TV app, everything else is pretty mediocre. What I do like about Jellyfin is the 3rd party support for apps like Finamp which Emby doesn't have.

I continue to keep an eye on both projects and may eventually switch to Jellyfin when they've reached parity with Emby.

I have an NVShield, and for live TV Jellyfin doesn't work as well as Emby IMO. Also, Schedules Direct is currently blocking Jellyfin due to an issue with the JF software, so it is lacking a comparable TV guide. NextPVR is better than Jellyfin for Live TV as it works well with Schedules Direct.

However, Emby is superior to both for Live TV. Emby has a decent TV guide service, skipping in progress recordings is reliable with either Android client offered, plus it is less expensive! A lifetime Emby subscription costs as much as a three year (+ one month) subscription of Schedules Direct. So, after three years it basically pays for itself. Free coffee!
