Cant turn off subtitles

Using the latest AppleOS app for the AppleTv.  Watching a Live show, and the captioning is on when it was not selected.  While watching, I slide over and click the ‘cc’ button.  OFF is checked.  Regardless, I select OFF and the app quits.  I’ve also tried first selecting the captions (works fine and moves the check mark), but trying to turn it off again errors out and the app quits.

Thanks for your patience.  Log file attached, as requested.  Windows server, watching on an AppleTV.  Server configured to NOT show subtitles.  Turn on live TV and subtitles are there, regardless of which user.  Try and turn them off, and the app automatically closes.  Any advice/guidance appreciated.  In this log file, it would have happened right after I entered the wrong password twice (near the end of the file).

Did some playing around on this.  I made multiple user profiles.  On one profile, subtitles don’t display (which is what I want).  On the other profile, I can’t turn them off.  I have compared user settings on the server and they are identical.  I went into the …/emby-server/config/users/ and copied the config file from one to another, but that didn’t help get rid of the subtitles.  Is there another file that would have raw setting data I can look at?  If so, can you point me to it, please?

Try switching off the subtitles on another Apple device which has your account. Worked for me to get them on

How are you trying to turn them off?

They are off in the settings, both general and for the specific user. So, during play back I arrow-up and over to the little ‘cc’ on the right. I then scroll to ‘off’. Then, the app quits.
