How to Change Library Location without completely Rescanning?

I have to change the share on my server where all my movies are located. Is there a way to have Emby just read all the NFO files (Emby created) and use all the artwork Emby stored in each movie's folder already? I've been searching but haven't found any way to do this. I changed location(s) a couple years ago and Emby rescanned every movie and changed about 3k of my posters, and l would really like to be able to have it keep them all as-is. TIA

Disable all internal scrapers or cut internet connection altogether before initial import (which will significantly increase speed of that initial scan as well).

With all media moves Emby nuke items in the database and readds.  Grims suggestion is the quickest option.

Otherwise you would have to hack the database and manually update mediaitems paths, images columns and possibly other areas and each library options.xml folder path.  Ensure you have a backup of db before editing.

Similar to this minus obsolete TypedBaseItems table.

Thanks for the reply. This does look like an excellent solution. It's just that I am running this on an Unraid server and every time I try to do something in the command line, I inevitably miss a space or comma or something and mess things up even further. Unfortunately, if it's not copy and paste it's just over my head, thanks for the reply though!
