Auto Organization (TV) Problems

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Lately I have tons of trouble with the auto organize feature.... log is linked in post below

I am on Version 3.0.5395.0

it seems there are two issues

1) It can no longer recognize some series from the file names

2) It fails to download a file from tvdb 50% or more of the time lately

If there is anything I can do to make this work better please let me know.

Thanks,

Doug

it looks like somehow you've got English set into the language field in your metadata. we don't save it like that. It's supposed to be en. I just confirmed with fatal from metabrowser that he does the same. So fix that and then refresh the affected items.

I have never used Metabrowser...ever

But I did use the metadata manager on the server to try setting the language to english on a few shows to see if that would help resolve this problem...it made no difference though. I will remove it now to be blank like it was before, but that will not solve this as I said I did that just to try to fix it.

Here is the settings I changed which I am now emptying again...

ok well using your response as a clue...I deleted all my series.xml files and then had MB recreate them...now things seem to be working better...

the only thing I can think is that sickbeard must have put some bad data into those files...

even with that fix, I still have trouble now with two series....

here is a new log file and the two episodes having errors and refusing to "organize" are...

1) hells.kitchen.us.1307.pdtv-lol.mp4

2) survivor.s29e04.hdtv.x264-w4f.mp4

When I try to manually organize these two, the file name box just goes away quickly with no error..and I see in the error log "because target path could not be determined." which makes no sense since the path is also listed in the log in the line right above the error???

Thanks,
