Hi Admins,

I do a lot of my general forum reading for my hobbies via my Droid phone and tablet. Most forums I haunt use either ForumRunner (my favorite) or Tapatalk. Are there plans for the MediaBrowser Community to support either one? Particularly for when using my phone, these apps do a great job of minimum bandwidth / maximum ease of use participation in forums on mobile devices.

Tapatalk no.  We looked into it early on and found too many people with problems with the Tapatalk integration for these boards.

I haven't looked into the others but we aren't looking to spend a ton of time implementing and supporting new features for the boards.  We'd rather spend that time on features and support for the actual product ;).

Also, there is a brand new major version of these boards due out over the next several months that will supposedly have much-improved mobile support.

Thanks ebr for the quick reply. I agree Tapatalk is buggy... and weird integration problems happen. For example, the Slysoft forum for me works when I am on wifi or on 1G Verizon signal, but not 3G or 4G/LTE. Others confirmed it for me.

Anyway, I agree your focus should be on the product. But if you find ForumRunner integrates easily, it would be much appreciated. I believe it is built into VBulletin framework and maybe others.

Said it before, will say it again: You guys rock!

I remember hearing there is no tapatalk but I saw a post from someone using tapatalk. When was this added? Did not see an announcement. This is good news.
