ArsGoetia2 0 Posted December 28, 2022 Posted December 28, 2022 (edited) Hello, I wanted to completely delete Emby from my whatbox account. I deleted all the files on the server and deleted my previous account (ArsGoetia), but it seems to automatically generate new files and folders (the main one being "EmbyNET") which reappear after I delete them. It also automatically created a log file which I attach here. Can you help me in stopping these files from appearing and completely delete Emby on my account? Thanks in advance. embyserver.txt Edited December 28, 2022 by ArsGoetia2
Abobader 3464 Posted December 28, 2022 Posted December 28, 2022 Hello ArsGoetia2, ** This is an auto reply ** Please wait for someone from staff support or our members to reply to you. It's recommended to provide more info, as it explain in this thread: Thank you. Emby Team
Happy2Play 9783 Posted December 28, 2022 Posted December 28, 2022 Have you contacted WhatBox? if deleting /mnt/mpathl/arsgoetia/EmbyNET is not working then I would think there is a script somewhere recreating it. Data path: /mnt/mpathl/arsgoetia/EmbyNET/programdata Application path: /mnt/mpathl/arsgoetia/EmbyNET/system
ArsGoetia2 0 Posted December 28, 2022 Author Posted December 28, 2022 I did and they just deleted the existing files. I had already removed the files, removed the text from crontab...basically, tried to reverse the install instructions ( https://whatbox.ca/wiki/Emby ). However, folders like "EmbyNET/programdata" keep appearing a few hours after I delete them.
Happy2Play 9783 Posted December 28, 2022 Posted December 28, 2022 With Emby not being involved in their process it is hard to say, but deleting that folder removes the current install. Anything after that is a new install.
