rhialto33 0 Posted December 26, 2022 Posted December 26, 2022 I get stuttering video on a particular HEVC HDR10 video using the Chromecast HD device, connected by ethernet. Emby says it's transcoding the audio because the device doesn't support the format. Plex is working on the same file and same device with no transcoding. I've set the Chromecast app to support all formats but Emby continues to transcode the audio and I can't figure out how to make it stop or recognize that the device does support it. Any help would be massively appreciated - I want to move to Emby from Plex but certain files like this just refuse to play without transcoding where Plex is working fine.
