I did a manual update of my Synology to 4.7.11.0 and it fixed the DTS issues.

Then I went to the beta version 4.8.0.21, and disabled video transcoding.

Everything is now back to normal and working on the LG app 1.0.37

It took me ages to find the playback settings. To be clear the playback settings are set on the server. They are not the playback settings in the LG app.

@Lukenot sure if I am haunted by the same issue as OP but for me it is impossible to watch 4k HDR content. Constant freezes while playing :S
