Scottieboi 8 Posted December 23, 2022 Posted December 23, 2022 Just curious if anyone has this issue, I watch a lot of anime and for the most everything is fine, but of late I have to manually add epidode information. Episode name, synopsis and cast are all missing.. I have tried remove metadata providers in settings one by one to find the issue but it's always the same I get the Anime name and synopisis but zero episode information. I have tried renaming the files ..example: Kingdom S02E01 and while this does show it as a season 1,2 it only shows the file name in the episode list (kingdom s02e01) I was wondering if there is an issue with thetvdb, anilist, imdb etc ???
Happy2Play 9783 Posted December 23, 2022 Posted December 23, 2022 Do you have the server log when you added the media? If not can you Refresh metadata on the Series or Season and post the server log as those are Unidentified episodes. How to Report a Problem
pwhodges 2014 Posted December 23, 2022 Posted December 23, 2022 What is your first enabled metadata provider? Can you see in the metadata that Emby has identified it as the correct series (there are multiple series with that name - which date is yours?). Both TVDB and TMDB have plenty of metadata for both the anime series of this name. Are you using the Anime plugin? - I stopped, because my experience is that it uniformly makes things worse! Paul
Scottieboi 8 Posted December 23, 2022 Author Posted December 23, 2022 The meta avaiable has been checked, I systamatical went through them all, remove -update, and so on thrroughout all of the providers, nothing changes, so i'm thinking, it's a meta provider that isn't working as it should.
Happy2Play 9783 Posted December 23, 2022 Posted December 23, 2022 Can you provide the server log for when you did that?
pwhodges 2014 Posted December 24, 2022 Posted December 24, 2022 Again, what provider(s) are you using, in what order? Paul 1
Happy2Play 9783 Posted December 24, 2022 Posted December 24, 2022 Also what externalids show for the Series?
Solution Scottieboi 8 Posted December 31, 2022 Author Solution Posted December 31, 2022 Sorry fr the late reply, holiday season is a nigghtmare for me.
