Dizzy49 99 Posted December 20, 2022 Posted December 20, 2022 I was watching an anime the other day on my PC (Emby Theater), and it was choppy and looked like crap. I checked the server, and it said it was being transcoded due to quality settings. It's the first I've seen it on my account. I saw it on my daughter's account the other day too. I didn't think I had any kind of limits on either of the accounts

Depending on if you're remote or local streaming, try setting this dropdown to one of the highest quality settings and try again. 1
Dizzy49 99 Posted December 20, 2022 Author Posted December 20, 2022 On the server it's set to 4k 160mbps, in Emby Theater it was Auto, so I set it to the 4k 160 as well. I'll keep an eye on it.
Happy2Play 9783 Posted December 20, 2022 Posted December 20, 2022 Yes playback quality is a per client setting.
