Dashboard/Stats for Nerds: Show original bitrate when transcoding

Right now it only shows the bitrate it's transcoding to, not the bitrate it's transcoding from. Sometimes it's a bad read from the server setting auto and I want to know if that's the case so I can manually force it higher.

Which app? Doesn't the ATV SFN box already show "original media info" ?

Can you provide specific examples. 

From 5Mbps to 4Mbps.

I was watching an IPTV stream when this thought occurred to me. Didn't check any actual media, TBH.
