Cinema Trailers only play trailers for movies that I have on my server

Hi, i wanted to know if this can be setup. I have Cinema Trailers running. and it will only play trailers for new movies. 

 

What i would like is to have the Trailer only play for movies i actually have on my server, NOT new upcoming movies, or movies i simply dont have downloaded. 

 

Is this posssible? im aware of Local Trailers, but then id need to manually download a bunch of trailers and take up more space on my harddrives.

no that wont help. (at least per my understanding). i would then need to create a new library of all my 1500+ movies manually and then have the storage space to actually store all those trailers. not to mention constantly updating and sorting them. correct?

 

i have it currently set to just show Old Movies as in my original post, and thats better than how it was before. its at least showing a variety of films, not just the same 5 or 6 over and over.

yeah that wont work, i mean it would work but the amount of extra work and storage space id need, plus the constant work adding each new film would be too much for me.

Did you install the trailer plugin? Because that can also help with this.

Yes, that i have tried as below. It still isnt what im after. But it has gotten better, its now playing more older movies and no new movies that i dont have/couldnt have already.

Just to ask if that could perhaps be implemented in a future update (perform a local scan of movies and only play trailers from films that are in that list).

Hi @StiffUpperNailTypo it is by us. The main challenge is where will the trailers come from? there are not too many sources of trailer videos available unfortunately.
