Playback Error - No compatible streams are currently available

I've had no issues in the past playing anything on these devices. The movies that are giving me difficulty are 1080p with video codec H264 with AAC audio which i've always been able to play up until yesterday.

Now i feel so embarassed, but thanks.  That drive is USB & my system hasn't had usb instability in so very long that i just never thought of checking the location of the files.
