This has been an issue for a long time, just haven't had time to deal with it. Are work for most of my movies is not showing up even though it is in the movie folder and it was working. Does not show int he detail screen either.

Looks correct can you post server log.

What client is that?  Not familiar with alpha picker on the left.

Not that I know of. All movies are in the same share so why would some show and not others? I got the file list I posted going in throught the share.

Any other ideas on this, I can find nothing wrong with the server.

I just was doing some more looking, and I am not 100% positive but I think all the ones that are not showing up are BluRay that are in folder format instead of MKV, this is back from when Emby actually supported folders for BluRay. All the ones showing cover are are either MKV or DVD folders.

So you have an mkv version of the movie right next to the bdmv folder?

Not according to OP's screenshots above. Has there been a change to BDMV support recently?

No their is no MKV, just the BDMV folders. The covers that work are just MKV or just DVD folder

OK so get this. My folder structure is  /Movies/5 Days of War/BDMV

nfo and art work is in /Movies/5 Days of War/ folder

I deleted all the art work, left the nfo file from the /Movies/5 Days of War/ folder

Then I told Emby to refresh and replace all the meta data

It put a NEW nfo file and new artwork file in the /Movies folder, not in the /Movie/5 Days of War folder

I do have cover art now for that movie now somehow.

I don't know what is going on but it seems pretty messed up....

Oh an now every movie that was not showing a cover has the 5 Days of way cover LOL

Ok I did some more setting and might be getting more confused.

Deleting the existing art and nfo file, actually deleting everything except the BDMV and Certificate folder. Then telling Emby to update the meta data always results in the meta data being put in the root Movie folder, not in the actual movies folder.

If I create a new folder, then copy the BDMV folder and Certificate folder into it. Emby picks it up as a new movies and puts the cover art in the actual movie folder where it belongs but the nfo file goes in the BDMV folder.

Clear as mud right

Hi, yes this was a change made a couple years ago. The nfo does get saved in the bdmv folder for new titles.

As is proper, following Kodi convention.

So I have to go in and delete all the Meta data for 100's of movies so it can rebuild it?

You can Refresh>Replace all without deleting existing.

Nope that does not work. Throughs all the cover art and the nfo file in the root MOVIE directory as I stated above

Are you still having an issue wth this?

Yes, never did get it resolved.

OK I would just move them out of your library and then back in, like you did with the others. Something screwy must have happened in the database with these. These folder rip structures do not get as much testing as normal video files.

I will try this weekend. Going to take alot of hours to do that, I have 100's of them.
