Hi. Im using lg oled tv c1 65.

When I play content that supports Dolby Vision and Atmos.  Its logo appears repeatedly in the corner of the screen throughout the viewing time, it's really annoying.  Does anyone know why this is so?

Is it all media or just a one off file ?

Yes.  Any movie that supports Dolby.  It appears

Which playback client ?

This is not normal - it's the TV that displays the message, not emby.

Does it happen on HDR10 ?

I know the TV shows it.  But it only happens in emby.  When I watch a movie on Netflix that supports Dolby it doesn't happen.  Not in hdr 10 it doesn't happen.  And if you meant how I play.  So it's in nvidia shield tv pro

Have you checked or tried a different HDMI cable from the shield to the TV ?

This looks to be a handshaking type issue - I don't believe emby keeps querying the display - it has no need to once playback has started.

Do the emby playback logs show anything ?

I have the exact same problem, did you ever figure it out?

I wonder if this happens when the server changes the streaming quality based on the Auto setting.  Maybe that's technically a new stream to the TV and it throws it up again.  If that is what is happening then maybe setting a fixed quality might help with the info in the corner.

Emby doesn't change the quality dynamically.  The auto setting enables it to assess the network before starting, but no more than that.
