Tony B. 38 Posted December 9, 2022 Posted December 9, 2022 Easiest explained here: Watching a fire stick named 'Living Room' Want channel 501 on either the guide OR just wanting to watch 501 Simple as that!
ebr 16183 Posted December 9, 2022 Posted December 9, 2022 Hi. You mean you wish to remotely cause that device to tune to that channel? If so, you can already do this with our "cast" feature.
Tony B. 38 Posted December 9, 2022 Author Posted December 9, 2022 No, I would like to use the number keys.
ebr 16183 Posted December 9, 2022 Posted December 9, 2022 Number keys on what? Can you please explain in more detail what you are after? Thanks.
Tony B. 38 Posted December 9, 2022 Author Posted December 9, 2022 I thought I explained it more than good enough.. While watching a show or accessing the guide, instead of using the "#" numbers, use actual keys of my remote control
CharlieMurphy 92 Posted December 9, 2022 Posted December 9, 2022 (edited) I had no idea what you meant. The number keys do work on Android if you are lucky enough to have a remote with numbers. TiVo Stream 4k does and the number buttons do work, last I tried. It also works on Tizen. Also on Android TV device connected to Tizen TV, number keys from the Samsung remote pass through to the Android TV device through HDMI-CEC, last i checked. Edited December 9, 2022 by CharlieMurphy
Tony B. 38 Posted December 9, 2022 Author Posted December 9, 2022 They work with ADB, so, I guess I'll do it that way. Just figured I could get them to implement a way to do it on an API
Luke 42078 Posted December 9, 2022 Posted December 9, 2022 There is currently no api to filter channels on number, although that should be easy enough to add.

Luke 42078 Posted December 9, 2022 Posted December 9, 2022 Well if you want to get a channel by number than an api filter is how you would do that.
