Scott D 69 Posted December 8, 2022 Posted December 8, 2022 (edited) Subtitles are giving me all kinds of problems. I have tried everything I can to disable them, but then this happens. This is the evening news and absolutely do not need nor want subtitles. Options are all set to OFF. I realize the subtitles are part of the stream coming from the HDHomeRun tuner (OTA signal), but is there a way to not have the ffmpeg process add them directly to the video? Seems like a waste of good clock ticks. Edited December 8, 2022 by Scott D
roaku 842 Posted December 8, 2022 Posted December 8, 2022 (edited) I had to do some tweaking to get broadcast tv to direct play on my Rokus. I have things set up like this: I can't remember if there was anything else that needed to be adjusted. Edited December 8, 2022 by roaku
Scott D 69 Posted December 8, 2022 Author Posted December 8, 2022 I currently have all the same settings. Thanks for the info.
ebr 16190 Posted December 8, 2022 Posted December 8, 2022 You have actually turned them off during playback?
Luke 42085 Posted December 9, 2022 Posted December 9, 2022 So it sounds like they're getting selected based on your emby user subtitle options. It doesn't make exceptions for live tv. How have you configured them?
