Embey Server Freezes all the time.

I have been with emby for a long long long time now and am very used to working with almost all of it. The oddest thing has started as of late. I can run the server for a few secs before it crashes. I cant get to the logs or anything to see what is making it crash. I thought to my self. well this server has been installed for the last three years or so. I will start over again. Format, rebuild everything, restored my backups, and it worked fine for a 1/2 a day. I am back to it crashing with in a few secs of up and running.  I can log into the server desktop with no problem. its just the program. I kill the process and re lanch the server again. Crash in a few secs. Reboot the server same thing... Something is off on the software. Any help on looking at it would be amazing.

Hi there, please attach the emby server log from when this happened. Also what exactly do you mean by freezing?

Remind me the place to find the logs. also the home screen just sits and if a movie is play it jsut stopes. cant click on anything ells or move around. have to close the server down and start it up again.

embyserver.txt here is the most resent log. It worked for a have a sec again and now nothing.

What time did the problem occur?

Appears to be busy creating Intro Skip via library scan.

If you stop the scan and Detect Intros tasks do you have an issue?

Looks like you have almost the entire plugin catalog installed

Try shutting down the server and going here:

C:\Users\daveorn\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\programdata\plugins

Then delete all .dll files found in this folder, start the server back up, and you'll be back with only the pre-installed plugins. Let us know how that compares. Thanks.

I deleted a few of them. I did delete the into skip. So far its working better. I saw some old plug in I did not use. I did not even think about those. you will have to teach me how to read the logs one of these days.

Watched two movies and my kids watched TV shows last night. not a problem. Thank you for the help. I would not have thought of that being the problem. Thank you again.
