Unable to select a folder in Emby

Hi,

In my Emby Settings page I have tried to select the downloads folder for several different path text boxes. In each case I am able to use the Emby path navigation to select "/volume1/web" but then I get an empty list without |"downloads" in it. I have taken a look a at the permissions for the folder and although it already had rw for user, group and others - and as you can see I even added explicit permissions for emby (picture below) - I am still unable to select it.

Also if I key in the path manually it says it cannot be found.

I am new to Linux and DSM (v7.1) so I'm sure it's just a lack of understanding, can anyone point me in the right direction?

Ok, I need to add Read permission to the "web" folder as well. Not sure why this is necessary if I specify the full path without browsing the "web" directories contents,
