Another incident at 18:13.

embyserver.txt

3 Minutes later and it's still isn't showing anything more than the My Media row (Smart TV). The web browser shows slightly more.

The server doesn't seem to be loaded down too much either (i5-8400), although this is more load then it's normally under. Regardless, this problem seems to happen frequently.image.thumb.png.df48690a9aac447c2e6cb8144b7048eb.png

A refresh at 18:20 fixed the browser.

Can you post a log after a restart or post your database settings.  Settings-Database

How much RAM do you have?

32GB

One other thing: at one point I had tried out a beta version to fix a problem but it didn't really do the job so I switched back (linuxserver/emby).

Yea it looks like you rolled back and forth on the same installation which is not supported. The 4.8 beta has made some database changes that 4.7 might not be able to cope with. (Or perhaps that will be fine, we just don't know).

So that aspect of things is definitely creating an unknown variable.

@fcimeson What is the size of your library.db?

One thing you could try via Settings-Database is increase the default size from 96 to a higher value 128, 256, 512, ect...

Also vacuum your database on next restart per the option on that same page.

Never recommend but depends on if there are database changes and does play havoc on most plugins as they are not all compatible and require specific versions.

That is why you have "LoaderException" errors for plugin/s that will not load do to compatibility issue.

Might need make note of the plugins in /config/plugins and delete all of them and restart Emby then reinstall your missing plugins.

So I'm guessing this might never get resolved and the sure fire way to fix it is to completely start over? If that is the case, is there a way to dump all of the watched states to text file?

I would change the db cache to at least 512.

You could also try going back to the beta.

Looks like the increase in cache size helped, time will tell. Regardless, thank you for the support. You guys are awesome!

Hey guys, the server has been fast but I'm now having an issue with a plugin. I was thinking of building up emby from scratch and the only information I really need is my watch list. How can I go about this? (I noticed the watched filter doesn't show tv series that are half watched)
