FanArt complications with fetching images.

I seem to have image fetching issues quite a bit with FanArt. Anytime the issue occurs this is what shows for my server, sometimes even when said images are saved locally. Is there a fix for this or am I SOL? It seems to work again after a bit of waiting but I figured I'd bring it up anyways.

This suggests you do not have local image and only a url to the image.

Would need to see server log but this is sort of common for FanArt.tv.

In that movie's case I did not have it saved locally for some reason? (I assume because of this issue with FanArt.) I have the option set to save images and what not when fetched so I'm not sure why that never happened. Normally I don't tend to have the issue unless something is going on w FanArt while I add a movie/show/etc...

Although rare, I have seen it grab the image locally but sometimes continues to show the "corrupted" image like what was shown above, even after a metadata refresh. I normally have to manually add the already saved image again in those cases.

Do you have Download in advance enabled also?  But will have the same issue is provider is having issues.  But only server log or possibly browser debug console will show why.

Hi there, can you please attach the emby server log from when this happened? Fanart.tv does have issues from time to time, usually when their site is experiencing an usually high volume of traffic.

@Luke I’m honestly not sure when it happened per say I just notice when FanArt is having issue w Emby itself. I’m not sure why when things go back to normal it doesn’t always dl the images to my drive. If I notice it again, I will grab the soonest log.

Are you still running into this?

As of now I have not noticed. I've been busy lately, so I haven't had time to check periodically if the same issue occurs. I will let you know if it happens to occur again.
