identify for subfolders

so i have a star trek collection and a lot of anime and i would like to be able to identify sub folder metadata.

so when i was referencing star trek and anime i was referring to standalone series or one offs this way the meta data can be more organized and some tv shows get a movie "the goal here is to create a preferred organizational system for viewing convenience and quality of life".
