bamabrando 0 Posted December 1, 2022 Posted December 1, 2022 I'm trying to access my movies using Emby Connect outside the network. I have the user set up, and I've confirmed the email. When I look at the user profile it has the green cloud icon on the profile. I'm assuming my issue is related to the ports on my router. I have a ATT BGW210-700 router. Below is the ports I've setup. Can someone tell me if this looks accurate? I don't know much about ports. Thanks!
Happy2Play 9783 Posted December 1, 2022 Posted December 1, 2022 Mostly yes, all you need is TCP on Emby port 8096. Does a site like canyouseeme.org show the ports open? Does the Dashboard show the same WAN address as canyouseeme.org?
bamabrando 0 Posted December 1, 2022 Author Posted December 1, 2022 The dashboard does show the same WAN address as canyouseeme.org. However, canyouseeme is not able to see my port due to "Connection timed out".
