About HD audio, ES beta 48019 (update) / Emby Theater 3017

Hi,

I use a beta version for testing with this hardware structure...

EmbyServer installed on a local PC Intel i7 9th generation, 64 GB RAM, Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, SSD 250Gb and HDD Seagate storage disks via USB 3.0 7TB.  The PC is using a UHD smart tv LG UQ5080 with webOS 20 (2022), 60Hz as a monitor, connected via HDMI ARC, passing through a Denon AVR E300 receiver, with support for HD audio formats such as DTS HD-MA, True HD etc.  It turns out that when playing a full blu-ray disc in digital format, with DTS HD-MA audio, the receiver only receives 2 stereo channels from the TV, as shown in the image.  I would like to be able to have direct playback without the transcoding and thus play 5.1 channel audio.  

Nothing changes if I use Emby in Chrome, Edge or Firefox browser or if I use the LG tv app.  Using Kodi (instead of Emby) everything works perfect because in Kodi we have settings to make the receiver handle the audio.  

Is this possible on Emby?

Hi, web browsers cannot direct play DTS, and neither can LG TV's.

Please help me with these questions...

1. Does Emby Theater play local content HD audio formats?  

2. Does ET not accept local server type 192.168.0.2, port 8096?  

I see error message filling in with this server.

Yes, and yes it works with local network addresses.

ET does not accept the above mentioned local network address. Could the reason be because I already have Emby Server installed on the same PC?

I just turned off the Emby Server beta that I use locally and installed Emby Teacher again and now it works on the local network address and playing HD audios. Thanks

Does ET support Custom CSS?  i.e. can we customize its interface like we do in the web app?
