Playlist showing when it shouldn't

There's a bug on the system where even if a user is not given access to playlist which hides playlist under My Media, on the side bar column, playlist still shows up. Is there a way to globally block users from the playlist and disable playlist feature?

Hi @akkidy can you please provide an example? What playlist? where is the playlist file located?

The user is not given access to Playlists under user access setting.

Under My Media, Playlists card does not show up which is expected and intended.

But on the side bar menu, Playlists continue to show up and also on Movies and Music, the Playlists tab still shows up.

Where are those playlist files located? Blocking the playlist library does not necessarily block access to all playlists, just the ones that are in that playlists library.

They are all in the Playlist library with the directory location shown on the user access setting. All the files in this directory show up under the collapsible playlist menu on the sidebar.

@Luke I can reproduce this one.

When access to 'Playlists' is removed from the user, visibility is removed from the 'My Media' section of the home page ✅, but it is still visible in the sidebar if you open it. ❌

Sidebar should have its 'Playlist' menu hidden/shown inline with user access.

Yes this is reproducible as drawer is not affected by Library access.

Was trying to figure out why this sounded familiar as Playlist library is different than Playlist access as you have multiple vectors.  But in theory drawer access and library access technically should be equal.
