Sort metadata has been mangled :-(

"Lock Data" setting does not keep Emby from writing to your NFO files. When you would make a change in an Nfo file, you won't see that change in Emby after a metadata refresh.

This makes sense and matches my expectation.  When an item is "Locked" emby doesn't alter the database.  I suppose a side effect is that it doesn't write to my NFO files either ... keeping my curated/altered metadata intact.  I don't alter my NFO files directly anymore so I wouldn't encounter a scenario where I updated the NFO file and emby didn't "see" those changes.  Currently, I set all of my metadata using emby's web client.

It writes to your NFO files, just the same data then.

BTW, I've made a change to the beta server (next beta release) so it doesn't mess with the sort name anymore when the general item lock is set.
