scott46953 30 Posted Tuesday at 03:49 PM Posted Tuesday at 03:49 PM Why does Emby why not want to the server owners to know on their own server that they are out of connections or close to it? There is no pop-up message, there is no red area at the top right, but I did notice that there's a nice pretty green area that says add premiere at the top right in the very beginning. Also why does it go to charge every device instead of notifying the server owner that more connections is needed. Looks like an unfair tactic. So we got to click on the premier button on the settings left and check it 24/7 and hope that at the bottom it says you're well within your limit, or it'll say you're getting close to your limit, or it'll say you've reached your limit. But that's the only thing that the server owner gets notification about and I don't even call that a notification. Until somebody calls on the phone and says hey it's wanting me to pay money.

I add on connections when I need it, but I'm not out of connections. Why is it charging me when I don't need it? If you have a subscription you don't need then please see: How do I Cancel an Emby Premiere Subscription?
scott46953 30 Posted yesterday at 12:21 AM Posted yesterday at 12:21 AM Okay so even though my server is premiere, I noticed that the apps have a unlock app and the person can purchase a premiere for their app individually so it's no longer counted on the server. I would like to know how many of my people on my server have purchased the unlock app. Point me in that direction

scott46953 30 Posted yesterday at 01:52 AM Posted yesterday at 01:52 AM I would like to know on my screen I have a screen of devices that does not make any sense it does not have anything that says this device is in the limit or this device is out of the limit. I don't have no screen that says this device is paid for premiere and is no longer counted on my list. And know the answer to fixing this is not asking every single person I have on my server. But I do appreciate the response.

It only applies to playback and is only available on some apps. 14 hours ago, scott46953 said: I would like to know how many of my people on my server have purchased the unlock app This is a transaction with the individual app store so you would need to just ask the user(s).
scott46953 30 Posted yesterday at 03:37 PM Posted yesterday at 03:37 PM Then why when I select it on my box it says in the message it purchased it will no longer count against the connection limit on the server. It says that in the message before purchasing on the individual app.

It doesn't mean it is Premiere as it doesn't give you any Premiere features other than playback on that device.
scott46953 30 Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago It clearly says the device will no longer be counted against the premiere of the server. I have no idea what you're stating, what would anybody be doing other than playing anyways. If it's not counted on the server premier list after payment on that particular device, how long does that last? 30 days forever? It seems like when it comes down to the money side of emby the answers are kind of a hit and miss. Not to mention the device screen on the server that the server operator looks at, has never been changed that I know of, why isn't it easy for the server operator to read and know what's going on? Seems like and I'm not trying to upset nobody, when it comes down to the profit side of emby, they don't want to be 100% to let the operator of the server kno exactly what is going on with connections detailed and connections that don't count no longer because they've already paid individually. I'm done. Just close this topic off, it ain't going nowhere. No need to keep it going for no reason.

Therefore, we have not spent the development time on it which would take away from time spent on features that 95% can use. 1
