clarkss12 304 Posted November 26, 2022 Posted November 26, 2022 I am away for the holidays. I wish to transfer some video files from my Emby server, to my Android cellular phone, so I can send them to my relatives. Just like a newbie with computers, I use the Emby app on my phone to download that video. It downloads to my phone, but I cannot find it on my phone so I can send it to my relatives. Where is that download file located and how do I access it. I sound like a newbie from 20 or 30 years ago. Downloads from AOL and can't find them.
Luke 42077 Posted November 26, 2022 Posted November 26, 2022 Hi there, what device and version of android?
clarkss12 304 Posted November 27, 2022 Author Posted November 27, 2022 (edited) Galaxy s20 ultra. Android 13. Edited November 27, 2022 by clarkss12
justinrh 260 Posted January 19, 2023 Posted January 19, 2023 Luke, you never followed up with an answer after he answered your question ... I hope he did
clarkss12 304 Posted January 19, 2023 Author Posted January 19, 2023 Never found it, so just gave up.
Luke 42077 Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 OK. It gets downloaded into the app's private data folder.
justinrh 260 Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 And how do you get to that folder? (Apologies if it is obvious to every other Android user on the planet.) Is there a way to see it in the app?
