Force Audio Downmix

Here is my setup.

Nvidia Shield -> 4x4 AV Matrix (Splits audio and video) -> Audio goes straight to speakers and video goes to one of 4 TVs.  Each TV is in a different zone and has 4 speakers.  The matrix EDID is set to 4K2K60, Stereo Audio 2.0, so it should be telling the Shield that it can't handle any of the surround formats.  But for some reason, Emby won't transcode audio.   I end up with dialog that's impossible to hear because it thinks it has a center channel.

Is there a way to force Emby to downmix the audio to stereo?

Hi.  Choose the "Downmix to stereo" option in the app's Audio Output option within playback options.
