Collections, how do I delete to redo it, or rescan to pick up changes

I'm having issues with Collections where it is not detecting new media to add and it is not picking up changes. I noticed it downloaded duplicate images so I made adjustments to the settings. I tried a few things to get it resolved, but cannot seem to get it to work. I need help either deleting collections altogether so I can redo it, or redownload/update metadata and images. Emby is installed as a docker within Unraid if that matters.

Tried the following in various combinations:

- Adding new media to the movies folder

- Rescan Library from the Library settings and Scheduled tasks

- Refreshing Metadata from Library Settings

@iPenguin02 Nothing stands out, do you write nfo files with media?

Did you enable per library option?

Under my Movie library. I do not have import collection enabled. I have minimum auto set to 2.

If you do not have it enabled then you are required to build your own collections manually as you will not get/write online provider metadata to the item.

I see. thank you. Do i need to rescan my Movie library or refresh metadata after making the change? Will it also fix my duplicate images under my Collections? @Happy2Play

You will need to Refresh to populate the information per item.  Not sure what you by duplication but potentially yes, but many need specific examples.

Please let us know if this helps. Thanks.

Thank you both. I was able to get the new media added to the Collections after Rescanning and Refreshing Metadata.

However, how do I get the images for the collections resolved? I only have Primary and 1 backdrop checked, but when the collections initially was created it downloaded a logo and thumb. And somehow downloaded 2 backdrops

@iPenguin02 Collection options are a little different than normal libraries.

Your easiest route would probably be entering the Collections library and multi-select all collection (enable multi-select on first item and hold Shift key and select last item) or specific collections and Refresh or Search for Miss and select replace images.

Or do a search for fanart1 in the \metadata\collections folder and delete them.
