My plugin config files are all zero kb and I can't seem to delete them

I was trying to delete my Trakt config file because it wasn't syncing but when I went into my plugins config directory, everything is blank and the files read as zero kb. On top of that, it fails to delete if I try to delete any files:

not sure what my next steps are to fix it.

I simply get an error saying "delete failed"

Have you done a scan of the drive to check for a potential drive failure? It could also be a permissions problem.
