Hi, yes, mka files are supported in music and audiobook libraries. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks.

Ok , I understand that emby supports .mka files but I think there is a bug.

I have about 200-300 .mka files and almost 250 work with emby. However the 50 don't. Most surprisingly all the files were remuxed from .m4a format and hence the incompatibility is quite baffling. ALL my media player including mpv, vlc, musicbee and potplayer play the files flawlessly.

Example files attached  :-

Please look into it why this is happening and what are the possible solutions.  The file are placed under the music category in emby.
