I hope not. It would cheapen the purchases made prior to the discount. The only reason to do such would be if Emby were hemorrhaging money and absolutely had to have more cash. I think it would be one of the most stupid moves ever made by a software company.

I agree!  The lifetime subscription is a steal as it is!  If anything maybe emby could say:

"During black Friday week we pledge 10$ of every lifetime subscription to

• a worldwide charity helping children
• the next natural desaster zone
• a third world medical organization"

Something like that... Just my thoughts!
