ceczar 0 Posted November 16, 2022 Posted November 16, 2022 Since I first started Emby a couple of years ago I have been using open subtitles to search for subtitles for movies and tv episodes that I have downloaded. It mostly worked very well. Over the past couple of months it has completely stopped working, both with new media and with old media that had worked in the past. These are movies and TV shows that are well labeled and are recognized by emby server as the titles that they are. and these are movies and tv shows that have plenty of available subtitle files on opensubtitles.com. I have recently found that this problem is not unique to me, as several others have reported identical issues in the past year. I have tried to uninstall my opensubtitles plugin and then reinstall, but without success. I have uninstalled (and then stopped and restarted the server), but when I try to reinstall all that it tells me is, please restart for installation to take effect, which it never does. what can i do here?
Luke 42078 Posted November 16, 2022 Posted November 16, 2022 Hi there, please provide an example and attach the emby server log corresponding to that example. How to Report a Problem Thanks.
ceczar 0 Posted November 16, 2022 Author Posted November 16, 2022 there's something weird also going on just with the plugin page, i've waited several minutes for this screen to load several different times in the past couple of hours but eventually I get there, and here is me installing it but here is it not actually installed I have had this same issue with different versions of OpenSubtitles, as well as other plugins (such as ConfigurationBackup) embyserver.txt I have also uploaded a log file. perhaps Emby changed the way it communicated and i need to change my port forwarding configuration from what worked before?
Luke 42078 Posted November 16, 2022 Posted November 16, 2022 HI, it seems to be working from here. Are you still having this issue pulling up the plugin catalog?
ceczar 0 Posted November 16, 2022 Author Posted November 16, 2022 (edited) I just tried again and 5 minutes later it's still a swirling blue circle. there must be something being blocked, but everything else works Edited November 16, 2022 by ceczar
