ROKU cannot connect to my server

Hello. I have installed Emby on my PC.

Running Windows 10
ROKU 3930x Roku Express
Roku Software 11.something

I installed Emby on my computer and can see my movies on my computer
*It doesn't appear to be a separate app. It seems to open Windows Edge and display my movies from my hard drive (server) using Edge. I'm not sure if that is a problem or normal.

when I try to connect through the ROKU app I get two options.
1. Install server manually
2. Use PIN Emby Connect
*PIN number method - I log in via my mobile phone browser and it gives me the "PIN Accepted" notification
*the ROKU screen flips back to the screen where it offers me two login options: manual or Emby connect (I presume this means that it failed. It would be nice if it gave some kind of failure notification)

*Manual Install Method - I type in my local LAN using the information provided on profile section of the Emby website.
*Port is automatically filled to 8096
*I get a spinning circle and it says it times out.

I also installed the app on my Iphone 12 and I cannot connect to my server using that method either. Same actions occur on both Manual and PIN method as it does on the ROKU.

Please help.

Thank you for the response. I tried that. It didn't work. See below for the experience.

After adding the new rule to my firewall I went downstairs and opened the Emby App on ROKU and the screen has changed slightly. There is no longer an option for Emby Connect (PIN method)
Now there are two options:
1. Install server manually
2. Sign out
But I cannot see my movie library.

I tried installing the server manually and it timed out again.

Here is a screen shot of my firewall. It seems odd it has both my newly created rule and Emby services on there. Not sure if that is a problem.

It looks like both ports were open on the firewall, now that I look more closely.

Hi.  It looks like you have block rules for embyserver.exe.  Try deleting those.

What are your deny rules?  As it would affect your Private network.

BOOM! That got it. Thank you! Odd that the .exe file is the issue. I thought that was just the installer so I didn't even bother with it. No matter what, I'm fixed and the Roku is streaming. Thank you!
