SuperSport 3 Posted November 11, 2022 Posted November 11, 2022 (edited) Two questions: 1) It seems that by default "auto-advance" is turned on for photos. How do I turn it off? 2) Is there any way to have photos fill the screen when displayed (instead of at native, sometimes much smaller, sizes)? Thank You! Edited November 11, 2022 by SuperSport
Luke 42077 Posted November 11, 2022 Posted November 11, 2022 Hi, can you give an example of them not filling the screen?

I do not notice photos not filling the screen from top to bottom. I do notice the some do not fill from right to left but that seems to be because of resolution or the actual size of the picture. As far as them advancing that is controlled by the play/pause key. I use the left/right arrows to move through photos and play/pause to start and stop the slide show.

LUKE, Having not tried on multiple platforms, let me now correct my statement: Photos don't "fill" the screen on the Samsung TV App, although they do on a W10 Chrome Browser. (And by "fill" I mean enlarge to either the max height or max width of the screen). I have attached a couple examples.

FrostByte 5392 Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 Is there a reason you're still running 1.1.06? Version 1.2.6 should be available in the store and 1.4.6 beta is available via usb.

The latest versions of the App shows photos only in ultra low resolution (unusable). More info here: You may try version 1.2.6 if that works for you or wait until the latest versions get fixed (please!).

That is the latest in the store right now, but you can sideload a newer version via USB. We have a new app update currently in Samsung review and hopefully it will be available within the next few weeks. That's assuming your Samsung is 2018 or newer because they're not accepting app updates for anything older than that.

(And yes, the TV is a 2022.) Thank you.
